LEGO pencil holder with POLYOMINO
TESSELLATIONS
These two pencil holders are build from the same set of LEGO bricks.
The shapes on
the walls are called tessellations. These are tiles
that fit together without gaps and can
be extended to infinity in
two directions. Each shape is surrounded by 4 shapes of
a
different color. The corners where 4 shapes meet are points of
90 degree rotation.
