This animation shows how a
hexagon is gradually changed
into a 3 leg spiral
propeller. This shape is
a triskelion, which has
3-way rotation symmetry but
no mirror or other rotation
symmetry. This spiral
design can tile the plane
with no gaps. The animation
is done by David Chow during
Thanksgiving of 2003.
The first 11 images are
shown at 1 second interval.
The last image is shown for
5 seconds.
